SUPPORT FOR REAL AND PRACTICAL AGRICULTURAL PRACTITIONERS

The existing Agricultural schools tends to be more academic than practical and this has actually increase the level of less developed nature of Agricultural in developing countries.

Practitioners with advantage of having Vass lands to operate but are not able to make any meaningful or profitable results due to lack of support and ignorance about resources available for effective production always end up operating subsistence farming which in effect reduce economic growth of people involve with this situation.

Most self employed farmers complain about lack of capital to

  • expand and employ qualified working staffs to work to achieve higher production
  • expand their Agribusiness
  • purchase the necessary equipment and materials like fertilizers and the lot to increase their rate of production.

Not living poultry and animal farming practitioners, financial support is a major deficiency and due to this they usually end up with less productivity which runs their agri-business at a lost.

Water as a central strength of Agri-business is being the major problems of people living in the South Saharan deserted areas of the world people spend millions of dollars to get water for their plantation and animal farming in effect the liberal needs of this farmers will not only be financial and equipment but availability of water supply for their Agricultural activities.

Production of Agricultural products by this agricultural practitioners are mostly affected by numerous disease due to lack of access to qualify mechanisms as to protecting their product right from the scratch.

This numerous problems has had a great impact on Agribusiness in the developing part of the world. Besides measures need to be laid to enhance quality proliferation of production among these practitioners.

With this GLOPEC has come out with some strategies to assist developing countries who's citizens are involved in real agricultural practices to promote their rate of production and marketing value.

Areas to Consider:
Meeting food need of urban and developed world and to make the Government and municipal authorities aware of the need to improve food supply and distribution systems for urban and developed world. Food security are of possible solution to extend and encourage staffs to use the techniques and options to promote value added processing to reduce post harvest loses to increase urban and per-urban food production.

Real agricultural practitioners are advised to contact any office of GLOPEC for enough information that will help them to increase their rate of production they need to produce in order to increase their commercial standard.

  • Enhancing Small Farmers Livelihoods
    To improve the support provided by public sector and civil society organizations to small farmers, including adjustments in the livelihood strategies, improved farm business management and income generation in the context of agricultural commercialization and globalization. The organization will also support farmers with grant/fund assistance , Technical assistance to improve their state of production and commercialization.
  • Agribusiness Development
    To ensure increased choice and supply of inputs for farmers; improved marketing services for farmers; increased competition among suppliers of inputs and services leading to more favorable pricing, and also provide small and medium scale enterprises and entrepreneurs in developing countries with capacity and efficiency to offer consumers food and agricultural products through sustainable and profitable agribusiness ventures.
